NOTICE TO ALL TEAMS CONCERNING THE USE OF NON-COMPLIANT EQUIPMENT.

It has been bought to the attention of the Int 29er Class Technical Chairman (TC) that there are teams currently racing with modified jib sails.

The modification is at the tack as can be seen in the photograph.

This modification is a blatant disregard of the Class Rule whereby modifications to Manufacturers Supplied Equipment is not permitted and its continual use can be deemed as cheating.

The TC has the country code and sail numbers of the teams racing with the non-compliant sails and should the practice continue then the appropriate action will be taken by the class.

I would encourage those currently using any modified equipment to read the Class Rule but more importantly cease the practice of racing with Non-Compliant equipment.
